What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning to improve socially significant behaviors. ABA focuses on modifying the environmental events such as antecedent (what happens before a behavior) and consequence (what happens after a behavior) that are key behavior change.

Goals of ABA:
- Teach new desirable behaviors
- Reduce undesirable behaviors
Evidence-based Practice:
ABA is an evidence-based practice. An evidence-based practice is an instructional/ intervention procedure for which researchers have provided an acceptable level of research that show positive outcome.
ABA practitioners:
ABA practitioners measure, graph, and analyze behaviors. Prior to making any changes to the program, ABA practitioners analyze the data in order to show that change is warranted.
